Roberto Unterladstaetter Valdivia
(Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia, 1980)
is a visual artist and graphic designer.

He uses the language of graphic design,
tools and techniques of advertising;
popular signage and commercial communication,
to create powerful, contradictory and critical works.
It does so through visuality and materiality
that is familiar to the public.
His works explore politics, mass media,
consumerism and other interests inherent to self-perception; both as an individual and as part of a collective cultural identity.

His experience as a graphic designer includes brand identity, advertising design, editorial design, creative design for bars and events, packaging and labels design, design and communication for cultural institutions and product design.
He worked at cultural centers, advertising agencies, TV channels, design and marketing agencies
and higher education centers.
He currently works as an independent
designer and creative.
-
Photography is an important part of his work.
It has been present in his life from a very early age,
whether as a tool or protagonist
of art and design works.

Independently and intermittently, he publishes limited edition prints in different media and formats.
-
He currently resides in São Paulo, Brazil.
